Hi there! Tomorrow is that time of year again -- All Hallows' Eve. Well, no one really calls it that anymore. Aside from Christmas, Halloween has always been one of my favorite holidays. Dressing up and trick-or-treating, ending up with candy enough candy to last for an entire month. Even though the Halloween vibe is not as strong here in Peru, we're still trying to get in the mood.
Which is why I brought you this post today. A super quick and easy costume you can create with pieces you probably already own. This year I will be dressing up as the infamous Wednesday Friday Addams. She's as dark as a girl can get, with a slightly wicked sense of humor. And as we all know, her signature style consists of a black dress with a white collar.
So I’m excited to announce that I have officially graduated and have obtained my bachelor’s degree in Consumer Psychology. It’s surreal how fast time has passed. I feel like if it were just yesterday that I got accepted. I certainly did not know what to expect in my freshman year. The late night study sessions and befriending coffee in its’ different forms and variations. I even switched majors at the end of the first year, I was initially in Business Management & Marketing. But I soon realized that management was certainly not for me. That’s when I discovered and quickly feel in love with my new major. It has been quite a journey, filled with so many ups and downs. Without persistence and the support from my loved ones this wouldn’t have been possible. Now, we’ll see what happens next!
P.S. I’m working on some upcoming posts. Stay tuned!
Hello there! Today I will be sharing a few of the skin and hair products that I’ve been loving lately. I have written about some of these brands and products before. The reason why I keep going back to them is because of the results obtained.
First of all, I must mention that I’ve been breaking out a lot lately --what’s worse is that I do not know the reason why. My makeup routine is the same, plus I’m drinking the recommended amount of water, eating fruits and working out. In other words, I’ve been trying to maintain healthy habits and see if that would stop the break out, but it hasn’t. So I’m guessing it’s stress...? Anyway, these are the products that have been helping me:
I do not own that many nude nail polishes. I always find it difficult to find the perfect shade for me. However, this is a tone that I've been going back to. It's "Runway Grey" by Maybelline's Colorshow. I think I even wrote about it last year. Although it's name is grey, the shade is rather brownish. And with two layers, you're good to go! When I'm doubting which color to wear, I either go with the classic red or with this one. They're both easy to match with everything.
Hello there! So a quick update on my hair transformation. I finally decided to color it! It's the first time I've gotten my hair dyed from roots to tips. The last time I made any changes was last year when I decided to go for the ombre look. At first I really liked it, but with the washes my tips got too brassy. Not to mention, the whole bleaching process really damaged my hair and completely changed the texture of it. Before it would never get tangled, and after that my hair became thin and prone to tangling. I was initially waiting to grow it out completely before making any other changes. But with my graduation coming up, I felt like it was a good moment to go for something different. I was aiming for something a bit deeper-chocolate tone. But once I was at the hair salon, I chose a lighter shade, which turned out to be more like a chestnut brown. Either way I liked how it came out. I'm still getting used to it though.
P.S. The pictures were taken under sunlight which causes my hair to look a bit more saturated than it actually is.
