As you may have noticed, I usually don't post things that are fashion related. But since autumn has already begun here in Lima, I thought I'd share two outfit ideas I created using Polyvore. I'm honestly more of the jeans and a shirt type, but I'm trying my best to step up my outfit game, while still maintaining my personal style. Hence, the searching for inspiration. I prefer accessories are versatile and can be shared with different looks, like the ones shown above. Before as a teenager, I used to own so many bracelets and necklaces because for some reason I considered them to be the best way of self expression. Now I understand that less is more. Below are the details on the items, in case you're interested in them :)

After hearing some comments and complaints on the topic, I decided to make a post about it. First off, ambition is good. It leads to establishing precise goals and objectives. We all need guidelines to help set our path. But it's not healthy to be comparing yourself to others. Like all of a sudden, your friends are getting engaged, you still don't have your dream job, but everyone else seems to have it all together. That may leave you confused and wondering what you did wrong. Well, guess what? You did nothing wrong.
Keep in mind that life is not a race, yet many people fail to see that. You should appreciate the things that come your way and try to make the best out of them. Everyone goes through difficult times, even the most successful people have their downs. But what makes them stand out, is that they get back up on their feet and keep on trying. So next time you feel like things aren't going right or how you'd expect them to be, remember: success is only the tip of the iceberg. There's plenty of hard work, failing attempts and sacrifice underneath. You just have to go on your own pace, and most importantly, accept yourself.
“Success is not final, failure is not fatal: it is the courage to continue that counts.” - Winston Churchill
