Hello there! Sundays are the days were I like to relax and pamper myself. From facial masks to manis and pedis, it's the perfect day of the week to catch up on your beauty to-do list. Today I will be sharing one of the easiest and quickest hair masks you can make at home. It's pretty simple, all you will need is two ingredients:
- One egg
- Two tablespoons of olive oil
Mix it together and violà! I applied it to damp hair, from the roots to the tips. (Don't worry, it won't leave your roots all oily). Not to mention, the egg helps fortify the hair. Leave it on for 20 minutes or so, and then rinse it off and wash and condition as usual. It left my hair shiny and extra soft. And thanks to the olive oil, it tames down frizz and flyaways. I am definitely repeating this next week!
Hello! So I came across this product a month ago. But I wanted to use it for a while before writing about it. Mother of Pearl by Grisi is a face and body lotion. I was initially looking for an acne product because I was breaking out and my face wash that contains salicylic acid wasn't helping much. Since my skin was also getting dried, I wanted something that would moisturize but at the same time treat my break outs. That's when I found this lotion. I had heard about it before --like many years ago. But after doing some research and fining positive feedback, I decided to buy it.
Hello! So I had the chance to purchase one Lip Kit by Kylie Jenner. I watched some videos on Youtube before doing so, considering that they're pricier here in Peru due to the international shipping. I chose Dolce K, because it seemed to be a nice neutral color. Well, it turns out it's actually one of the shades that looks different on every person. At first, I thought it was a little too dark, which made me look paler than usual. But then when I tried it for a second time, and combining it with the right makeup, I liked how it turned out.
I cannot believe this post is number one hundred. I've been blogging non-stop for five years already! Who would have guessed it? Although it's just a hobby for me, it requires time and effort. Taking the right pictures, editing them, coming up with content and ideas to write about. Sure, there are days when I feel uninspired and nothing comes to mind. But other times, after finishing a post, I feel so inexplicably delighted --and that's what keeps me going. I did not create this blog to gain followers or popularity. It's a form of self expression that I enjoy. A big thank you to the lovely visitors. There are many things coming ahead! Stay tuned.
I came across these photos unexpectedly the other day when I found some old CD's. Nowadays, who even uses discs as storage? I need to transfer these before CD's become obsolete. It was inevitable to feel nostalgic. When I started this blog, it was a topic I would bring up constantly --lately I haven't mentioned it. Up until early 2009, I used to live in south Florida. Then, my parents gave me the news that we'd be moving back to Peru. After ten years, Florida was certainly the place I called home. And at that moment, just as any regular fifteen year old, it was shocking and hard to take in.
