Hi there! So I've been applying hair masks more often lately. My goal is to fully recover my curls. My hair has suffered transformations over the years. Although I haven't straighten it permanently since 2014, these past few months my curls began to loose shape. I guess it might be the hair dye that's affecting it's texture. Anyhow, I want my hair back to normal, so what better way than hydrating it with natural ingredients?

This hair hair mask is really simple to make and the results are amazing! All you will need is:
  • 1 tablespoon of coconut oil
  • 1 tablespoon of honey
  • 1 teaspoon of olive oil
  • 1 egg
Mix it up and leave it on for about 20 minutes. Afterwards, shampoo and condition as usual. Trust me, you will immediately feel and see the different as soon as you step out of the shower.

That would be all for now, 'til next time!

Hair Mask: Coconut + Olive Oil

La Luna Vita Blog

Hi there! So last month I made my first order ever on Phojojo. In case you haven’t heard of it, it’s an online store that sells photography gear, both for you camera and phone. On this occasion, I bought two products:
  • Wide/Macro lens for iPhone 6s
  • Lens cap holder

Photojojo offers international shippings. The shipping rate depends on your country, and according to their website, international orders take between 2 to 4 weeks to arrive. I’m not sure if it was because of the holidays, but my products got here 5 weeks later. I know it was barely an additional week, but during those days of delay, I couldn’t help but to think that something had gone wrong. Just when I was ready to write them an email, my order arrived!

Unboxing: Photojojo

Hello there! So today I will be writing about why I gave up on agendas/planners and will give bullet journaling a try. Sure, we live in a digital era were there are multiple options to keep a list of tasks to get done, from your phone to Google Calendar and many other websites offering the same service. However, there a few things in which I'm very old school about, such as books and stationary (I'm sorry dear trees).

Now, why did I quit using an agenda? The answer is quite simple. I didn't actually used it, except for keeping track of my deadlines of school assignments. I used my 2016 agenda up to July, when I finally finished my last semester. Then August came by and I soon forgot I even had an agenda at all, getting lost in my bookshelf until December came along. As soon as I got a glimpse of it, I opened it and thought to myself what a waste of paper! So I decided that this could not happen again on 2017.

My Bullet Journal (sort of)

La Luna Vita Blog
What a better way to start off the year: a weekend at the beach with your loved one. I know I said in the previous post that I would begin January writing about time management. And I’m working on it *promise* but I thought I would first share some pictures of the small trip I took.

This summer has started off a bit gloomy. Unlike last year, when the sun and heat were becoming almost unbearable, this year has been partly cloudy with chilly nights. Which might I add, got me sick. But aside from that, I had a good time.

I’ve seen so many memes referring to the whole “New Year, New Me” as a cliché, and how a calendar is just a human construct in the end. I won’t disagree, I’ve always had the mentality that you can start any goal at any given day. Why wait ‘til Monday, next month, or next year when you can do it today!? However, I must admit that the beginning of each year inspires us to reflect upon our actions of the year before that. It helps us identify which were our strengths and weaknesses and how make some improvements.

P.S. Also, I've recently started reading Persuasion by Jane Austen. This is the second book I read from this great author. I'm only on chapter three, can't wait to finish it!
